Protein-Rich Chocolate Barfi
Ingredients
1 cup roasted peanuts (or peanut powder)
½ cup milk powder
2 tbsp cocoa powder
¼ cup jaggery powder or dates paste
2 tbsp ghee
2–3 tbsp milk (as needed)
Grind peanuts
Dry grind roasted peanuts into a coarse powder.
Mix dry ingredients
In a bowl, mix peanut powder, milk powder, and cocoa powder.
Add sweetness
Add jaggery powder (or dates paste) and mix well.
Cook the mixture
Heat ghee in a pan, add the mixture, and cook on low flame.
Bind the barfi
Add milk little by little and stir until the mixture leaves the pan.
Set & cut
Spread in a greased plate, flatten, let it cool, and cut into barfi pieces.
